But when the mother-daughter duo were being interviewed by ABC's Lara Spencer, things got a little frosty.

Spencer asked Griffith if she'd seen her daughter in Fifty Shades, to which the elder actor replied: "No."
The awkwardness continued when Melanie said, "I don't need to see that to know how good she is," which made Dakota snap.
